As I dine on a piping hot ham and cheese sub with a six-pack of Pepsi, I am eagerly awaiting this score.

It does determine the possible placements for the DOC games.

My understanding is that if Ironton did win then they now need to make up a game with Chilly to determine if they or Jackson take second. This is just getting downright screwy. Chilly has already played their sectional game and finished their reg. season yesterday. Thurs. perhaps? This DOC may never happen or may happen right around graduation.

Actually if Ironton beats Chilly its a 3 way tie with Portsmouth,Ironton, and Jackson. And since we own the tie breaker by beating Ironton 2 out of 3. And Ironton owns the tie breaker with Jackson by winning 2 out 3. And Jackson owns the Tie breaker with Portsmouth by winning 2 out of 3. It would come down to a coin toss for second in the South since all 3 would be 6-6. But if Ironton loses to Chilly then Jackson finishes 2nd, Portsmouth finishes 3rd, and Ironton finishes 4th. I hope it all makes since. I don't think there should or will be a DOC at this point. First place has already been established at this point. Congrat to the Blue Angels from the South with a win over Marietta today.

Honestly...after number 1 does it really matter where you finnish?
Flip a freaking coin,theres is no sense forcing either Chilly or Ironton to make that drive.

Its been a wild year to say the least.
Although if Ironton does play Chilli,Ironton would stand a chance of getting another win.

That score is correct. Ironton won 6 to 2 over Portsmouth. Congrats Lady Tigers! Chillicothe at Ironton Wednesday.

Tried again and confirmed with Coach Fields, the game is on for tonight at Ironton's home field.

Chilly was notified via an email (by their AD I guess) at 9:00 that there was a game tonight. Not exactly great timing for such a long trip but they are coming.

Chillicothe had a chance to play last week and declined.

Chillicothe declined because they were ask to go somewhere in Northern Kentucky and play at 7:30 at night on school night. The game was played today so it's done.

Where Florence ? LOL sorry that descrpition (northern ky) is usually used for the are across the pond from cinci.

Chillicothe also had a field available for Ironton to play on and they declined also. That was just a bad situation but there are no hard feelings. Congrats to Ironton on their placement in the South division.
