The girls will be really good I believe. Good group of frosh that can help out also.
With the loss of just one senior, everthing will be pretty much the same as last
year as far as positions.

heard alot of hearsay about Abby W --that she was going to concentrate on hoops and quit pitching , that the staff did'nt want her pitching, and a few other RUMORS ---what is the truth ? Hopefully she stays with it --I've always thought she was a wonderful pitcher. and yes the freshman class is pretty strong. MD

I was looking on the CLAY thread and saw where Jordan Jenkins had transfered to Clay....It must be a sad day at WEST when a great pitcher and all around player on the softball field transfers....I've watched Jenkins and Kegley both pitch through the years. Even though Kegley threw alittle harder(MAYBE).I always thought Jenkins was a much better PITCHER!!!(LOCATION,MOVEMENT,ETC.). GOOD LUCK to Jordan Jenkins at Clay...Maybe you will get the chance you never got at West...Good luck to WEST also. GET ER' DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does the Jenkins girl have to sit out a year?

If she did'nt move to the district, OHSAA will make her sit for a year. I wish she
would have stayed for basketball, she's a great player. Gonna miss her.

She has to sit out one year from the date she starts at Clay. She has to move into the district if she wants to play this upcoming season.

I believe it would be a mistake if the West coaching staff doesnt try to work with more than one pitcher, I think Kegley is good but i also believe Abby has the physical talent and the ability to compartmentalize like no pitcher I've seen since Erica Brickey, no matter how bad it gets she doe not have a mental collapse, you just cant coach that.
