With Coaches Laing and Coffman running the show I expect the Lady Warriors to continue their winning ways. Any word on who all is coming out this spring? With Seniors Dolak, Mckenna and Santini, Juniors Stauffer, Lauer and Powell and Sophomore Zimmerman all back the team should be experienced. Sophomore Ally Spence should step up to a starting spot too. Any other underclassmen have a shot at making the varsity?

I'd love to see that but you are asking a bit much. The SEOAL has some very good teams in the league. Running the table in the league alone is a stretch. Non-league games are sometimes used to prep upcoming players for important games/situations. There is a lot of talent on the Lady Warriors team this spring and they should have a shot at the league title.

Warren came to life in the late innings tonight at Gallia Academy, scoring 10 runs in the 7th to come away with a 17-11 victory. Way to keep fighting Ladies. Warren's record now stands at 1-1 with a 2-1 loss in the opener at Maysville.

Warren looked very good tonight at Marietta, leading at least 8-0 when I left after five. They hit the ball sharply, but most impressive was their "air tight" defense. Even on those plays that would not have been an error if they hadn't made them. They made a wonderful play to cut down a runner at the plate on a gap hit in the outfield, and Dolak at 2B base made two wonderful backhand plays on grounders throwing out the batters at 1B.

Warren is on a roll right now, improving their record to 6-2. Everyone on the roster is contributing at the plate, the pitching has been solid and the defense is air tight as stated above. Keep it going Ladies.

Hats off to the shortstop, Mckenna, that throw from the outfield to home plate had to be perfect...we should have known better than to run on your arm!

Warren got back on track with a sweep of Chillicothe, 5-2 and 16-1. The Lady Warriors are now 8-3 overall and 5-0 in the SEOAL North.

The Lady Warriors moved to 9-3 and more importantly 6-0 in the SEOAL North with an 8-7 come from behind win over Logan. Taylor Dolak (3-4) lined a bases loaded triple in the bottom of the 6th to tie the game at 7 and Ally Spence(2-4) followed that with a run scoring single up the middle. Caitlyn Bowman, Maddison Stauffer and Hannah Zimmerman all had multiple hit games. Taylor Dennis pitched into the 6th inning and Staci Lauer came in and got the win.
New Lex is tomorrow and Marietta at home on Friday for a chance to clinch the SEOAL North. Keep working hard Ladies.

A good comeback win for Warren! Seems like from the article another good relay to home on a long hit, on what was already a 2 RBI play making the Logan lead 3 runs, to nail the 4 run lead carrying runner was the catalyst for the comeback. When the Warriors came to bat after that, they tied the game and had the lead taking run on 3rd within 6 pitches from Logan. What a quick turn around, and then they put a zero on the board in the top of the 7th for the win.

The go ahead run/hit was also a first pitch offering making it 5 hits on 7 pitches.
