The Chillicothe lady Cavs went into Portsmouth tonight and took one from the Lady Trojans. Score was 5-0. First shutout for CHS in 8 years. Freshman Rylee Bouillion pitched the complete-game shutout and the Cavalier defense was stellar. The game-ending double play, turned by SS Marissa Webb, was a beauty. Way to go Lady Cavs and keep the winning ways going tomorrow vs. Westfall at home.

The Lady Cavs are continuing to look better and better in each and every game. Bouillon pitched an excellent game and her defense behind her played stellar as well.

cutekid, am i correct that SS Webb is only a sophomore? I have heard a lot about her and all of that have been good things...

Coach Phillips is doing a tremendous job in turning this team around...hats off to him! :aaaaa41

Sorry about the score (it's fixed now). The CHS girls learned first-hand how winning softball is played. The pitching was good, the defense solid and the hitting timely. This club just keeps getting a little more confidence each game. Just like coach Phillips says: Passion + Performance = winning. The girls were passionate and brought their performance last night. Looking forward to actually seeing a game tonight (the girls have only played 2 of 11 at home so far). Good luck tonight and stay healthy girls!!
