Piketon, undeafeted at 14-0. Have beaten Adena who has lost only twice, the other to Ironton 1-0 and Portsmouth West.
Adena, lost to only Piketon and Ironton. 13-2 maybe?

I believe Ironton is 16 and 5, give or take a game in the wins.

East Sectional
1. Zane Trace 13-3
2. Alexander 12-6
3. Wellston 9-9
4. Westfall 7-7

These are the only records I am aware of.

Does Adena's win over Piketon give them the one seed based on splitting with Piketon and with who Adena has lost to and the scores of those games. Adena has lost to Piketon 3-1 Ironton 1-0 although it was rained shortened and Lakota East a D1 4- 1.

With Adena beating Piketon, giving them 1 loss, Valley with 1 loss, Adena with 3, Northwest with 3, and I understand Valley and Adena may meet in the Clay tournament Sat., the drawing for the Sectional Sunday may be very interesting.

Adena run ruled Lucasville Valley earlier this season giving them their only loss.

IMO:
Piketon
Adena
Lucasville
Northwest

One of the toughest sectionals in the state. Piketon is 15-1, Adena is 18-3, Lucasville has only lost 1, and Northwest has only lost 3 I believe.

I am pretty sure that Peebles will go into this draw with only two losses,(16-2)? one being to Eastern Brown, who may have a better record than Peebles. I believe (and someone correct me if i am wrong), but didn't peebles beat northwest and lost to piketon 5-3 in scrimmages?

Piketon
Adena
Valley
Northwest

Peebles won't beat Northwest in a full game, the scrimmage was only 5 innings. Adena and Piketon would be a good match to watch. Northwest has only lost to Valley 2 times and Adena 1 time.
You may want to keep an eye out for Ironton as well, they looked pretty decent to me.

Does getting the second win of a split with both scores being the same get you a higher seed? No, it doesnt IMO. Adenas good losses overrides Piketons average wins? No on that as well. I will reserve my predictions for after this weekend. Piketon travels to Westerville Central saturday for a double header.
