Change in DII game time

WHY would the GAHS AD agree to change the game time of tomorrow night's game at 9:00 at night???????? Some story given about Circleville's baseball team. Does anyone know the truth behind this STUPID decision on his part?? Parents, grandparents, fans, and especially our team, had their plans made. Some cannot be unmade. How sad. And how like our "esteemed" AD to make this decision without even a courtesy call to our coach first.

The Circleville baseball team is playing their archrival Logan Elm today for the Division II district championship. I imagine there will be a huge crowd at the VA for the baseball game. To accomodate the Circleville fans who want to attend both games and support their teams, the baseball game was moved from 5 to 6 p.m. and the Circleville softball game with Gallipolis was moved from 6 to 4:30 p.m.

You said it bman - to accomodate the Circleville fans. What about the Gallia Academy fans? And why was this decision not made until 9:00pm the night before the game? Surely, everyone knew of this conflict earlier. It's not fair and should not of been allowed to happen. One school should not have the clout to pull this off against another and it should never have been requested imo.

I know it is a long drag from Gallipolis and it probably is an inconvenience for some. But if the shoe was on the other foot then I would assume GA fans wouldn't mind too much to get to see both of their teams play.

the decision was made before 9pm. it was made very early in the evening. now there could have been transit issues in getting the info out but that would be a guess.

Did the Gallia Athletic director have to agree to it, or did tournament officals just make the change?

Why didn't they just make the baseball game at 8pm? Both baseball teams are not too far from the site.

GAHS already played softball and baseball tournament games on the same day this year and we were hosting the softball game. I assume out of respect for changing everyone's schedule around we hosted the softball game and traveled to Athens for the baseball game and had split fan support. Should have never been agreed to this close to gameday. Especially w/o contacting our coaches first.

Way to go Angels!! 2-1!! What a win over Circleville! Amy Noe struck out a ton of them tonight!! Bases were left loaded by C-ville in the bottom of the 7th. What a great team effort !

Congrats to Gallipolis. Very nice pitcher and did just enough on offense.
