Koch from lucasville and my kid are going to moline to compete in 14u USA/ASA nationals in moline Il. looks like 120 teams at a min, maybe 150 teams. 32 California team coming in. should be fun

Rock Valley senior league all stars with girls from Rock Hill, South Point and Symmes Valley head out this weekend to play in the Central Regionals in South Bend Indiana with a chance to go the Little Lleague World Series in Delaware.

Southern Ohio Lady Flames going to Myrtle Beach to play in the World Fastpitch Connection Class A World Series Aug. 2-8.

Congrats to the 11/12 Yr Old South Shore, KY Allstar Softball team. They won the KY State Championship and are leaving today for Joplin, Missouri to play in Central Regionals beginning this weekend.

USA/ASA nationals announced their pool play games , 155 total 14u teams , 32 from california. Our team drew Minors Gold from Ca , the other two teams in our pool are the Texas Peppers and the Chicago White Sox Training Academy.

Laser Black , Taryn Alvelo and Michael Cunningham's team drew the 2009 12u National Champ Power Surge from Socal. tough way to start.

how is the tourney going for DOOM?

won a scrimmage game over Fresno Wild (2nd place finisher at ASA central cal states) 10-1 .

lost opening round of pool play to the Minors Gold from california. 8-6 . had a 4-1 lead , fell behind 6-4 Koch homers to the opposit field to make it 6-6 but our D was not tight enough. Want to see an impressive 16-17 girl roster search minors gold 14u . shoulda woulda coulda. Play chicago white training academy team at 2pm or when rain stops (current 4 hr delay)

Doom north 16u did well at ASA North regional held in bowling green , 7th out of 70-80 teams , went 8-2

Doom 96 (Lindsey Ward from Waverly plays with them ) won their opener 5-3 over the Fresno wild. MD

Ohio defeated Iowa 3-1 and Kentucky 2-1 to reach the semi-finals. They will now play Michigan and the winner will play in the regional championship game.

won our 2nd pool play game 7-0 over Chi. White Sox training academy team. got the 3 seed. then got a terrible draw. just a couple 3 seeds got grouped together in the "play in game' meaning you have to win an extra game to win the tourney . Sucks but oh well. So we drew the Indy Rebels , there pitcher was fine but we came back from 1-0 in the 5th to win 4-2 . Now we move into what is the opening round for most teams. And we get maybe the most recogizable team in Socal. Corona Angels.

Virginia is recruiting a girl from the Viena stars (va) team , was hitting 67 on the gun yesterday. Fernadez was clocking/watching Power Surge's 13u kid . MD

just back to the hotel. Lost 6-0 to Corona Angels. game was 0-0 thry 4 complete. We ended about 1;30am , I guess when Tenn, Wash and Arizona coaches are present watching your opponet after 1am you know your opponent is pretty worthy. MD

Rock Valley Sr. League allstars fell in the semifinals of the Central Region Tournament to Michigan. Michigan went on to lose in the finals to the host District 11 Indiana. District 11 went 3-1 in the tournament. Michigan 3-1, Ohio 2-2, Indiana state champs 2-2, Kentucky 2-1, Iowa 0-3, Illinois 2-1, Missouri 2-1

doom 95 5-1 over Texas Storm. Doom 96 fell in the winners bracket by run rle to the pitt roadrunners.

great day so far for the doom org. Doom 96 advances with a nice come from behind win 7-1 over Ga Impact. was down 1-0 going into the 6th. then exploded.

Doom 95 is 2-0 today so far. 4-0 win over the Ga. Gals , then a very exciting 1-0 win over a solid Vienna Stars team from Va. pushed a run across in the 7th . great game. one more win by either doom team assures a top twenty out of 155 teams. MD

doom 95 and doom 96 both advance to sat play. both assured of a top 24-30 already out of 155 teams. super job. Doom 95 over central Florida wildfire and doom 96 over some other Ga team. MD

doom 95 ends up with a very strong 17th place finish. once again SoCal dominates the field with Socal Jynx, Corona Angels, Bomb Squad , Sorcerers, and a Norcal team San Jose Sting (National Champ) . in the top 6.

was kinda wierd or just surreal to watch UK, Tenn, Ariz ,Oklahoma, Nebraska and on and on watching 14 years olds play. When you got down to the final 8 in the winners bracket you could walk around to the back to back diamonds and watch some of all 4 games. Talent level was off the charts.

We fell to the Atlanta Vipers. great experience. on to fall ball (maybe ) lol MD
