This team is looking pretty good this season, with a record so far of 4-0 and an explosive offense with already 7 home runs... everyone is pretty much hitting the ball very well..... I do believe all four games only played 5 innings in mercy rule. their defense is looking good too!! they have 2 very good pitchers in the circle with Lyndsey Mader and Jordan Jenkins, let alone the infield Holly Hempill on 3rd, Marisa Messer as SS, Mariah Tackett 2nd, and Keely Craft on 1st.

I agree with batman715. The Clay Lady Panthers are out there having a lot of fun playing their games. I would also mention the catcher who did a great job last year and looks even better this year behind the plate, Alison Castle. She's pretty quick and has a good arm. She got some huge clutch hits for Clay last year. The oufield hasn't seen a lot of action yet but as they play stronger schools, they will play a big role defensively. The Hempill girl has slammed 4 home runs already and a couple have been tape measure shots. Hopefully the coaches can keep the chemistry going with this bunch.
