IMO the 43' has helped girls make better and more consistent contact but the power is coming from better bats and much faster swings.

As a general rule that is probably true concerning the girls who play summer ball. Now with the bats, I have seen a huge difference in the composition and especially the price over the last 10 to 12 years. Maybe the Rocketechs were out there and I just didn't notice.
