Wellston handed Jackson their 1st loss of season (5-1 now). A gem of a game. Outstanding pitching, Great defense, Good hitting. Both squads were undefeated coming in. Jackson never quit or hung their heads. Top of 7th, 4-3, Runners on 2nd & 3rd. 2outs, 3-2 count, and about 5 foulballs---STILL HAD A CHANCE TO WIN!!! Fans for both teams were on the edge of their seats. Exciting Game.. Shayna Long of Wellston -- 2 run homerun. NICE GAME TO LADIES OF BOTH TEAMS!!!

actually got to see this game....nice game played by both sides. i agree old timer heck of a game. the best game i've seen in years. i was impressed with the jackson and wellstons offenses. looks like both teams will have very succesful season.
