I think Shenandoah will be in the running for the title this year with the pitching staff they have now. Long and Cowgill will be a force for all to overcome. I heard Fort Frye lost their good pitcher is that true?

Fort Frye still has their ace pitcher Tori Mimken, she's a senior. The catcher, Nicole Miller graduated last year.

Cadets should be fine this spring.

Zepnuts,

Do you know if Shenandoah has a full schedule? New Lexington is looking for a doubleheader on 3/30, 4/6 or 4/20. I was reading where you feel the Zeps should be strong and New Lexington was the district runner up last year to Logan Elm who went on to the final four so it would be good for both teams.

They are full, and as far as the star pitcher goes at Fort Frye is she playing I heard she got in some trouble. Or is that a rumor?

First I've heard of that, but if I hear for sure, I'll post.
I talked to her mother about a week ago and she said several girls (not all FF) were working on pitching and hitting at an inside facility in Marietta area once a week since weather got too bad to work outside.

Ask Caldwell, Mimken tossed a prefect game against them yesterday in a six inning, 12 strikeout, 10-0 victory.

The Fort Frye Lady Cadets improved to 13-0 with a 2-0 win over Buckeye Trail last evening at Beverly.
Tori Mimken pitched the two hitter while getting 15K's, and walking none. She has picked up every win for the Cadets.

Cadets travel to Caldwell today for another PVC matchup.

Cadets improved to 16-0 with a DH sweep of New Martinsville (Magnolia) WV. 1-0, and 3-2.
Tori Mimken pitched both games to improve to 16-0.
These wins today insure the #1 seed in the OVAC Championship playoffs.
Cutoff date is today (20th), and top four teams play for the title.

BTW: Cadets beat Parkersburg South last night 3-1
