Conkey 13 K 2 or 3 hits
Sosby 14 K allowed 5 hits
Great game and pitching matchup. Sosby and Conkey are the top strikeout and top power pitchers in the entire district. No easy day in the batter's box for the South Point girls.

Can't come up with any good reason in a 0-0 game with two outs in the eighth and no one on base that you would pitch to K Sosby who had already singled and doubled deep - unreal . So point now has 2 loses , to d4 Notre Dame 4-0 and d4 WO 1-0 . The Gopher reported Sosby threw 77 pitches in 8 innings -- 71 strikes !

Both were excellent games on a beautiful day for ball. Thanks to Minford for being a great host and hopefully we can make it an annual thing.
Good luck to Minford and South Point in the rest of your season and in tournament play.

Eastern Meigs was 10-0 with a couple quality wins over Meigs.
Didn't realize....not surprising
