Post what you think. My thoughts are that our conference(SOC2) has a very good chance. DIV3 Burg and Minford will be very talented and with Valley dropping to DIV4 they will have the best opportunity with that much talent.
Could be the first time ever that our softball team wins more post season games than our hoops team.(Work hard ladys)

D2 Jackson was 5 outs from the Final 4 and lost that regional final to the state champ....Jackson returns all but 2 starters, but both 4 year starters and multiple time All-SEOAL

That's interesting. Was talking to a guy at work the last week and he asked me if we were going to have a rough time this year because our league would be super tough and said watch out for Valley because they were D4 now and that an Asst Coach from their told him that. If that's true oh well Valley will still be a handful in D3 like they always are.

Last year the SVC had 2 teams in the regional (Zane Trace and Huntington) with Zane Trace losing to eventual DIII state champ Bloom Carroll 5-1 in regional final. Also had 3 of the 4 district final teams with Westfall losing to Zane Trace. All 3 of these teams return most of their line ups from a year ago. I think you could also add Piketon to the mix in DIII as they lost in the district semi to Portsmouth and only lost 1 starter from a year ago. Should be a fun year in the conference with several teams having the ability to make a good tourney run!

If I read this correctly then Zane Trace is DIII by 3 girls and Bloom Carrol is DIII by 1 girl.

SEO Division 3 is loaded this year. The SVC will have 4 D3 schools of regional caliber, Zane Trace, Huntington, Westfall and Piketon. It just depends who gets hot and is playing their best ball come tourney time.
It wouldn't surprise me to see any of these teams make it to the regionals, but getting past Bloom Carrol is going to be a hard task for any SEO team.

Paint Valleys tough league play of D2 and D3 schools should have them ready to make a nice showing in the D4 tourney.
