I think everyone does , know who is good and who isnt ? no clue . Notre dame had a large group of players come out . Have plenty of pitching . Maggie Whitman is a 8th grader and lil sis Sydney is a 6th . Both throw well.

Northwest does, had close to 30 kids come out. The 6/7th grade team will be stacked up pretty good, they have 6 or so good travel ballers on there. Not sure how many do different teams, but I think they could hang with most 8th grade teams.

Clay has a team of 12 young ladies that seem to be holding their own, played 2 games so far (Piketon2 & West) and won both. Only given up 2 unearned runs while plating 41 for themselves. Very good group of kids!

Waverly 8th Grade is solid. They have many quality travel ball players with good skills. They went 17-1 last season and just won their season opener over a quality Fayetteville team with several travel ball players out of the Cincinnati area. I truly feel this group will do well moving forward.

The burg has a nice ball team. If they have all there players available they will be tough to beat.

Since middle school ball is a club sport, yes, 6th graders can play. It all depends upon on the schools choice to do so.

Portsmouth
Zane Trace
Miami Trace

Alexander
Wellston
Jackson
Oak Hill

I know more teams are out there that I'm missing.

Just some of the teams that I know that has middle school club softball. Scheduling is very hard do, as to getting a field to play on. This age group needs a better organized system. Really needs to become a school sport as volleyball, basketball, & cheerleading is.
