Kentucky Crush - ASA Northern National Qualifier

Kentucky Crush is hosting the ASA Northern National Qualifier at the Portsmouth, Ohio Little League Complex on October 5th - 6th. Entry fee is $350 and includes 4 guaranteed games for the 10U, 12U and 14U divisions. There will be individual awards for the top tournament and game players as well as awards for the top two teams in each division. The top two teams of each division will receive a berth to the 2014 ASA Northern National Tournament. Registrations are limited so call to reserve your entry. Interested coaches can go to http://www.tournamentasa.com to sign up and register your teams. This tournament is under girls fastpitch and then select "Kentucky". We will give discounts for multiple teams. Also, register by August 31st for an early bird discount of $50. Can you post a list of teams who are entered / interested?

We have received calls or emails from the following teams Kentucky Rockers, a couple of the Championship Fastpitch teams, Kentucky Crush teams (2 or 3 Crush teams), and Ohio Lasers Green. I have also spoken to the WV Dusters coaches and they are thinking about coming. I have personally emailed invitations to over 300 other teams and expect it to fill up by the middle of September.

I forgot to mention Ohio Passion texted me as well asking information. Not sure if they are coming yet.

How many 12u teams are committed? Ohio Stingrays 01 are interested.

Kentucky Crush and Kentucky Rockers are playing. The other 12U teams that are interested are WV Dusters, Championship Fastpitch, Ohio Passion. They are waiting to see who/how many is coming before registering. Also heard from Ohio Lasers - Green about the tournament format, and hope they play too. Local teams in the area that usually play in local tournaments that have been invited are the USSSA-Tri-state Pride, Buckeye Elite, Team Federal Eagles, Ashland Tazers, and Southern Ohio Heat. They were all finishing up try-outs, but usually play in this area. In addition to those, I have also invited most of the teams in the Cincinnati and Columbus, areas in Ohio and all teams in Kentucky and West Virginia that were ASA sanctioned teams. I hope you guys come. I think that would draw a lot of the more talented teams I have invited that are waiting to see. Thanks for your interest!

**TOURNAMENT CHANGE** We are now also accepting 16U & 18U.

No definite commitments right now with 14U except Kentucky Crush (13U). Have had several calls, texts, or emails. Teams I have heard from that have expressed interest are, Championship Fastpitch (Bowen), WV Dusters, Ohio Passion, and a couple teams from Central, KY. I didn't get the team names of the KY teams but the coaches sent emails to me and said they were interested and would call back after meeting with parents.

Madison Baseburners are now registered (WV)
Ohio Hawks '00 (OH) have contacted me as well.

12U looks like it will be very strong.
