Schedule strength may or may not help power hitters and determine HR totals. Personally... I think the HS & College softball fences are too short. 210ft would be a good minimum distance for HS and 220ft for college.

What is the minimum length for high school field?

Do all fields now have fences?

I like the home run.
Girls spend a lot of time perfecting their swing to be able to hit one, or a few a season.
I wouldn't like any new rule that would negate ones hard work
with an outfielder playing 200 plus feet away from the plate.

Ally Allen hit a line drive HR over the CF fence in Minford. It was pretty impressive.
