Bats on both sides were cold like the weather . first time out for each team I think , scoreless thru 4 or 5 innings . ND pushed a few runs across with the help of a couple walks and an error or two and a timely 2 rbi single.

then what

West beat Zane Trace today in their scrimmage. I believe the final was 12-3.

Beautiful day for softball. Eastern Brown traveled to Valley HS for a DH.

Game 1 finished in a 8-8 tie with Valley. Both sides hit the ball very well. Very few strikeouts and walks issued in this game. Very impressed with the defense at times this early in the season. There were a few errors that cost a few runs on both sides.

Game 2 finished with Eastern Brown over South Central 17-0. South central is a young team with some growing to do. Coaches need to be a little more patient and positive with the girls. New coaching staff. Expectations are pretty high and I can see the girls trying. They will get there. Just going to take some time and hard work.
