Notre Dame survived Beaver Easterns upset bid 5-4 . Weird game, ND gets 3 early mostly or all on errors and appeared to headed towards a 3-0 win but Eastern exploded for 4 in the 7th and took the lead into the 7th inning . Exciting finish as ND loaded the bases the 1 out but eastern got a pop out to need 1 out to pull the upset but an error on a slow grounder allowed the tying run to score and the ball got far enough away from the IF to set up a bang bang play at the plate that went in ND's favor . game over 5-4 . Eastern appears headed in the right direction as they only graduate 2 Sr's . Much improved over years past .
Tons of d4 and d3 games today , how did Burg PHS go ?

Did Paint Valley's pitcher get hurt or something?

Yes. Story is she had injured her ankle or foot during volleyball and about a month ago re-injured it. I believe she still has the most strike outs in the SVC, that's after missing the last month of the season.

Svcsportszone.com stats have not been updated... she does not have the most anymore... although she did go over 160 playing less than 1/2 of the season.
