SOC 1 Predictions
Not having last season to watch it is hard to say what teams have or lost but below is early prediction.
1. Notre Dame - Solid teams recently. Replacing SOC1 Pitcher of the Year since the last time on the field but should have a couple replacements. A
few nice offensive hitters. Should continue to roll.
2. Green - It's their time to compete. Have a nice group of seniors with some younger players that can help. One of the better defenses in the
league.
3. Symmes Valley - Odie always has his teams ready to compete. Another team that lost their #1 pitcher since they were on the field last but as stated
they find a way to compete each season.
4. Clay - This is a tough one to predict. They are replacing 7 of their 9 starters since they last played. Including four of their 6 infield spots
and their entire outfield. I see an average team at best.
5. Western - Western and the next two teams will battle for the last three spots. All three teams I think are fairly young.
6. New Boston - See comment above.
7. East - See comment above.

Re: SOC 1 Predictions
From what I've seen it's Notre Dames to lose.
Symmes Valley, Green and Clay all played each other and were competitive games. Should be a good battle the 2nd half for 2nd place.
Clay has the edge with Ws against both and good pitching Symmes Valley is very well rounded.
Green played them both close but just don't have the pitching, too much is on defense to make every play.

Re: SOC 1 Predictions
Clay taking a second win against Green in a 14-3 (5 Innings) win greatly hurts Green's chances to finish higher than 4th with one loss already against Symmes Valley and ND.
Notre Dame and Clay will play Monday in their first game. This game should show whether ND has the edge in the SOC 1.
On a side note the Carol Vice Classic was held yesterday with Clay, South Webster, Georgetown and Leesburg Fairfield coming in to play. Below are the results of the games.
Clay 4 Georgetown 6
South Webster 15 Leesburg Fairfield 10
Clay 13 Leesburg Fairfield 10
Georgetown 9 South Webster 3
Also would like to send out prayers to the two girls on South Webster's team who were injured. Hopefully both girls have quick recoveries.

Re: SOC 1 Predictions
This is what I expected at the start of the season, can Clay win a home game vs ND for a share of the league title? The 1st game was not a good showing for Clay, however if they can play like they did last night vs South Webster it should be a good one.
