This is how I see the groupings, not necessarily the order. Westfall has the best pitcher, Unioto has the most dangerous lineup. Should be a good race between those 2 teams. Adena, ZT, and SE will be capable of knocking off anyone, just don't think they'll have the consistency over the course of a season.

Which teams will make the deepest run in tournament Adena, Westfall and Unioto? Conference play is great everything but if you want to put your team name in the elite teams. You have to make a noise in tournament play. Wheelersburg is the cream of crop in all the sports.

Hard to tell with the seaon not even started yet. However, Adena and Westfall are D3 and Unioto is D2. Once you get by 1st round of tourney competition gets better. I believe D2 get 1 team to the regionals with 19 teams while D3 gets 3 teams to Regionals with 31 teams. Based on that Adena and Westfall seem to have a better chance of advancing farther- but we need to play the regular season 1st.

SE beats Westfall 1-0. Looks like quite the pitching battle between Richendollar and Dumm. Dumm had 14K's, 0 ER, 3H and takes the loss.

Doesn’t look good for the SVC conference when the top team gets shut out. How good is the conference?

I still think the conference is pretty strong. Richendollar is no slouch, and is capable of beating anyone on any given day. I'd still put Westfall, Unioto, and Adena on the list of teams capable of deep tourney runs. I'm surprised by Piketon's VAST improvement! ZT & SE are very capable teams. The SVC is good, and will get even better in the years to come.

Unioto @ Adena on Monday to take control of the conference.

The top 5 teams in the league are a combined 18-1 in the non conference, so that’s pretty good.

Sometimes you just run into a good pitcher and excellent defense.
