Did you just say Oak Hill could'nt play with Piketon???I've watched both teams a few times and Piketon is deeper, but that is it!!Oak Hill is the better team.

Minford handled Piketon in a scrimmage this season. Oak Hill recently beat them by 40. Oak Hill would beat Piketon handly and it doesn't matter that they are D-4. Piketon is more athletic, but that is it. Legg is good. Onedera is better. Oaks have advantage inside and would get Piketon into foul trouble. I'd also give the advantage to Oak Hill for preparation and gametime adjustments (tough to say as I am not a Norm fan).

Piketon smashed Minford in the Jackson Summer League by 20 or more on a couple of occassions. Minford beat Piketon's second team by 5 points in one quarter during a scrimmage this pre-season, the others were won by Piketon.....I was there....coach Lisath BENCHED his starters after 30 seconds into the quarter. Oak Hill vs. Piketon will not happen this year, "ifs and butts, candy and nuts" The argument is silly.....

Jimmy, many of your posts are humerous to me. I believe in supporting your school and your coach, but you definately keep a pair of rose colored glasses on!

I was not at the scrimmage, but let me help you out with a reality check. I have seen your Streaks play 4-5 times and Minford play 5 times. The Redstreaks would not make it to the Convo if they had to play Moinford or Portsmouth and then a very good North Adams team to make it.

Most of the SOC2 schools would play with and many could beat Piketon. Sorry, but I've seen them play and it is the truth! For example, the SOC1 (small school division) has at least 3 out of conference victories against the SVC. OVER RATED!
Sure, the SVC has some good clubs. But, top to bottom....WEAK. In contrast, most SOC2 schools can play with anyone (look at Burg, Oak Hill, Minford, Valley's non-conference record.)

Good day.

Not a know it all...just realistic.

For example, I would not be on here saying that Piketon couldn't play with or beat on any given night any of the SOC2 schools.

Didn't Waverly just upset Chillicothe? Anything is possible. That is why we play the game.

Support your team. Support your coach. Do both with unbiased and realistic conclusions.

I don't think I'd go that far. After all, he just carries a clipboard and keeps the stats. But I think the stats(and records) speak for themselves.

It's not like VC just recently settled into the TVC, like some area schools have into new conferences. And I'm hearing some things about the Almighty SEOAL that might be changing sooner rather then later.

By the way, congrats to Piketon. What a beatdown you put on VC. Hope to see you guys go deep in the tourney.

Is this Piketon's best regular season record?

Is this their 3rd SVC title?

If they win tonight they will tie with the 86 team for the best record of 18-2. It is Piketons fourth SVC title.

What is your problem with Piketon? :-D I hope you get your chance for one of the 3 above mentioned schools to play Piketon. BY the way that would be a chance for the Regional finals.
