Maybe it's the youngsters' inexperience. Coach Robertson has them playing a mixture of defensive looks....lots of times the Tigers are reacting to being out of position. Let's not forget that this team is formed from a few JV players....some who didn't play last year at all, some who didn't even start at the JV level, a foreign exchange student new to the program, and two frosh....one transfer who is entirely new to the Tiger program.

I'm mainly concerned about the foul-calls....many that could go either way.
Younger players generally don't get the respect of officials.

PS. Officiating has been just as suspect at the HawHee.

Numerous bloggers share my sentiments. I'm just bold enough to share them on-line.

In defense of the officials.....I wouldn't want to be in their shoes....I know that I could only call a worse game. Then I'd be giving myself the devil.

The officials are the only reason Valley didn't lose at home this year... and they are clearly the reason they lost at Wavery, Burg, Oak Hill, and South Point. Waverly never had a chance once the officials walked out. They are all anti-pike county... it's a known fact.

Just like when Valley beat Burg at the busser,I was watching on V-cast and you could clearly see the offical tap the rebound to the Valley player for the game winning shot

Congrats to Coach Villinger, he seems to be a pretty good guy. Nice to see him turn things around. Of course he needs to be careful, a few more wins could put him in danger, the last guy that won big there got ran out of town!

Man......I thought it was delayed enough for no one to see it....either way it was an "accidental" touch of the ball by the ref, so the basket was allowed.
