Lynchburg Clay at North Adams (Feb. 16, 2009)

This is a make-up game from earlier in the year. It should be a great game! North Adams took one on the chin the last time these two teams played each other at Lynchburg with the Mustangs winning by 20+.

I think this will be a different night though for the Lady Devils. They know what to expect now from Lynchburg and have felt their physical style. It still will be a very difficult game for NA. Lynchburg is a heck of a team.

The scenerio for the league title goes like this for NA. If NA wins and Eastern gets beat by Ripley, then NA will have a share for the League title. If NA wins and Eastern wins, NA would be in a tie for 2nd. If NA loses, then they could fall as low as 3rd or 4th depending on what Eastern does.

Needless to say, a big game for North Adams. I don't usually like to make predictions but I will say NA by 2. Come North Adams fans, we need a nice BIG crowd tonight.

Looking forward to this game. The Lady Devils need to step up on defense. Interior defense against Lewis and Hatten will be the key. North Adams will need big games out of Debord and Copas down low on defense.
North Adams is capable of winning this game and hopefully they do.

Regardless of the outcome it's been a good season for North Adams and very competitive at the top in the SHL big-school division. Good luck tonight !!

North Adams with the HUGE WIN tonight!!!!! They pull off what many would consider an upset by beating Lynchburg by 6.

Great Job by everyone in this win!!! It was a great team effort tonight with Karli leading the way with 11 and Kristen Hughes had 9. WHAT A NIGHT!!!!

The JV Lady Devils also avenged an early season loss to Lynchburg by getting a huge 14 point victory tonight. Corey Pertuset led the way with 17 points.

What a great effort by the Lady Devils!!!! Everyone stepped up and contributed to the victory.

Also, a shout out to the "cheer block" that formed on NA side. That were loud and got the team excited and make a lot of noise.

Great game. Congratulations to all the Lady Devils on both of the wins last night. Game got tight toward the end and the young Devils maintained their poise and finished the game. Great team effort and very good defensive effort. Great way to go into tournament.
