Twist it anyway you need to make it look like BUSH did anything worth while. The shape the country is in right now shows the truth and no matter how it gets twisted the truth is there for all to see.OZZIEOHIO wrote:When B.C. was in charge I had no problems in my life as far as job and things like that.
You prove my point once again. When BC was in charge all was good because GB sr Made it good for BC to take all the credit.

I bet any time...no matter who was president, if you offered that type of wage and benefits for an unskilled job, I bet you'd get the same response especially with Obama being in office. That's a pretty high starting salary for a government job. I mean, I know the government has all kinds of money and all but..I bet those type jobs don't come open often at that salary with those low job requirements.
Re: 1,600 people apply for one meter reader job
When Clinton was in I applied for a job that 220 people were after. They hired 12 and I was one of them. So it doesnt matter whos in there if its a good job there will be alot of people there to try to land it.

And thats what I have been saying for 8 years. It took Bush 8 years to get Clintons mess turned around. Gas prices were down to the lowest in a long time then bush had to give it up. Maybe we should let a Republican stay for 12 years after a Dem stays 4.
Bush had nothing to do with gas prices comming down. He's the idiot who let the speculaters go wild. I thing however that this should now be on the political forum not the chat forum.

We just found out that the plant I'm currently working at in Prichard,WV is closing it's doors at the end of June. We make parts for Ford, Chrysler and Mercedes. The plant has about 100 employees and has only been in business for 5 years now. I guess I'll be looking for another job pretty soon. Luckely I have my Navy Retirement to help out.

Not a bad idea............
I could see if Hammerdown would like to go on a hunt next year, I'd have to invest in some beagles and a spot light first though.
I'll find something to get into. I've basically been in maintenance my entire career, in the Navy I was an Electronics Tech and since retiring in 2004 I've been in Industrial maintenance at the plant that's closing down.
