FaberGrad62, you need to meet coach Compton, or talk to your son, #24. I have talked to the coach before, and I can tell you he had a valid reason to sit him. If you are not his dad or mom, you haven't watched enough of these boys. I for one am proud of them.

He is not my son. I was there watching a friend of mines son from the Burg. Quite a few of the Burg people around me noticed the same thing about the boy getting taken out. Not trying to bash or criticize anyone. Just was curious as to why he was taken out, you answered my question so we'll leave it at that.


The Clay boys played hard and gave a valiant effort last night. All of the boys that got in the game gave it a 100% everytime they were in there. Have to applaud that.

I "think" the 7th grade boys and 8th grade girls championship games are at 6:00 tomorrow and the 7th grade girls and 8th grade boys championship games are at 7:30 tomorrow.

Good luck Pirates. Both the 7th and 8th grade teams in the championship games. Coach Barrick has to be happy with that. Some good talent coming up for the future and with the varsity beng young, Burg should be loaded for the next few years.
