Peebles vs. Fayetteville (7th grade girls) SHL Championship
On Wednesday (2/18) Peebles 7th grade girls and Fayetteville's 7th grade girls will square off in the Southern Hills League Tournament Championship game. This game is being played at Whiteoak High School at 6:00.
Both teams come in at 13 - 1 with their only losses being to each other by two points on the opponents home court. Definitely should be a dandy of a game to end the season. Best of luck to the Lady Indians!!!

Congratulations to the Peebles Lady Indians 7th grade girls on an SHL regular season and tournament championship season as they finish 14 - 1 on the year with the win over Fayetteville tonight. Peebles was down early in the game but went on an 8-0 run to close out the first quarter and never trailed after that. However, Fayetteville did keep it close as they were only down 13 - 11 at halftime.
Great job girls and we're really proud of you and excited about your future. Team members include: Hannah Cade, Alex Carson, Sara Dinsmore, Brooke Justice, Katie McFarland, Sidney Pell, and Baylee Wallace. The 7th grade coach is Cody Brown and the 8th grade coach is Dave Pryor.

I understand it's exciting and everything, but does it warrant fans getting thrown out? Whether it is a 7th grade Jr. High Girls or a State Championship fans should be under control enough to cheer and not get caught up in the bad emotions. Come on people, relax during these most important games of your life.!!

Nice win girls! Any word on who got ejected and who the technical(s) was issued to? Sounded like a heated game!

Chris Fulton was one of the refs in this game, he was the one that did the ejection. He thinks that everyone in the crowd should be watching him instead of the game.

not sure that that is a fair statement or if you were there? Unfortunately I was not so I cannot say much other than sometimes officials take and take and just finally hear enough especially when they are calling the best game they can call. This was JH girls right?
Re: Peebles vs. Fayetteville (7th grade girls) SHL Championship
I was sitting close to the guy that got ejected and I thought it was a little ridiculous. The guy never cursed, he wasnt yelling causing a big scene. The guy was voicing his opinion and without warning the ref stopped the game and tossed him out. I thought he should have at least got a warning. Im with you Jethro, a lot of times they just want to draw attention to themselves..
