Former ESU head coach Sam Winters (played by James Caan) was too late in submitting his application.
I'm surprised this hasn't made SportsCenter yet!!!!
Somebody call Chris Berman!!!!
This might be the dumbest post I have ever seen on SEOPS, and I have read some pretty dumb posts. Classy, very Classy!!
To those of us who do not have sticks stuck up our arses sideways, like you, his post was very entertaining.
I heard that Coach Kilmer (West Canaan) wasn't even given an interview.

I'll take the basketball coach from Hoosiers to coach football. It was his way or the highway, and look where it got them!!!!!!!!!!

It's good to see a few people still have a sense of humor.
Hey, boogerred, nice Kilmer reference. I forgot about him!

This just in!!!
Two more candidates:
Jack Lengyel -- the Man, the Legend.
Coach Moreland Smith -- experienced as a basketball coach but it should apply to football.

Speaking of that, I watched the story of the real Hoosiers with actual B&W footage of the game. Hate to say it but there is no Hickory; it was fictional.

Going downhill may be an overstatement. I am not sure of Gallipolis's exact number of students, but GAHS is still a relatively small school. Talent fluctuations do occur at the DIII and DIV levels, just not as often as they do at DV and DVI.
The Blue Devils have had very successful teams and, as others have stated, 5-5 last year was an accomplishment with what they had and the tough schedule.
Gallipolis will be fine!!

IMO The action of one just put the icing on the cake how the program was ran.And gave the school an program a black eye. Its not about keeping the right ones happy.Word has aready been sent asking my son to play for the Blue his SR year.4-ever you no that answer!!!As for being unhappy!!! NO, Smart yes!!! IMO so yes big time!!! It will take the new Coach 3 years to turn the Blue around. So now my son is with a program that is ran the right way.the transfer was for the best.
