I wouldn't want to play Eastern Brown right now. They came on strong in the 2nd half of the season. They have the ability to score inside or outside and play strong defense. Good size inside, capable ball handlers/shooters outside, and a coach who is among the best around. Add that all together and you have a very dangerous team.
I haven't saw South Point but I would say they will need to play very well to beat Eastern Brown.

Eastern is probably the most dangerous team in this tournament. As boomer said, they have one of the best coaches in the state and they have been red hot in the second half of the season. Their inside game is great and if you pack it in on their big girls, their outside shooters will get you.

South Point will have to be on the top of their game that is for sure.

The Pointers have a great team and 4 of the 5 starters are in the top 50 in the tristate in the points leader category. This shows that they are not a one dimensional team and once you figure out how to stop one of them they just have someone else step up. Very balanced scoring through out the year and their press is awesome! I look for the Pointers to win!

Pointers win this one. They start only one senior, one junior, 2 sophomores and 1 freshman. They are young but very good and have a lot of height. I would guess 5'11",5'10", 5'8' 5"8, 5'2"

If the pointers come out playin team ball with no attitude an the heart to win I don't see no one stoppin them the freshman Allison mitchell has been playing great at the end of the season an has some great post moves I Look for the pointers to be strong in the paint an on the glass an if flether an bradburn get hot outside I look for then to have no problems goodluck pointers

South Point is a very well-rounded team. Nobody stands out. If you focus on one girl, another scores behind your back. The only flaw I can see in the Pointers is they are not very consistent. One minute they beating you like a redheaded stepchild and another minute they seem to have relaxed. I believe South Point should win this game if they stay focused but the very single second they get cold, Eastern's coach will take advantage of it to the fullest extent. He's good, very good.

South Point does have the athleticism. On has been to states 2-3 times in high school for track and another is the middle school state champ in the high jump. All the starters are either track, volleyball and softball stars as well.
