Alex vs Trimble on Saturday

Post by admar »

What is you thoughts on this game? Listened to the Trimble/Crooksville game last night and sounds like Trimble has some pretty good players on the team. They hit the boards hard last night. Good luck to both teams on Saturday.

Should be a good, hard-fought game...Going with the Alexander Lady Spartans by 12...

Lady Spartans by 18. Emotion will make it competitive for awhile. No disrespect to the Lady Tomcats. Good luck and good health to both clubs.

If Trimble comes to play, and pounds it inside, this is going to be a close game. Otherwise, if they try to play an outside game, the Spartans win, going away.

I think it is great that two Athens County rivals will be fighting it out for a sectional championship. Good luck to the Lady Tomcats and the Lady Spartans.

I think that she was in the 18 to 20 point range for the game, if my memory serves me correctly ;-)

Actually, it was 16. Oldtimers setting in........

This ended up being a pretty good game. Seemed that the Spartans were a little sluggish in the first half of the game. I was only able to listen to this game but hope to make it to Sat. game. Sounded like Smith had a good game after the second half. McClain girl didn't see much floor time which I thought was strange with her playing like she did against Nelsonville. She makes a big difference when she is in the game. The Dourtery(sp?) girl played pretty well too. Would like to see this team go deep in tournament play. They seems to work well together as a TEAM and that is something not many teams can say.
