Now I understand how Obama got elected, lol.
Ondera may be the best player but I'd say Hale is the MVP of the championship team.

This one is tough. I think Ondera is the best player but Hale is the MVP if that makes any sense.

All of those boys have had great seasons, and I would love to see Andy Stegman get the award, but historically it has always gone to a player from the conference champ and I would suspect Hale will win it this year.
Re: Player of the Year- SOC II
It's been a great season in the SOC 2. So many great players. I can't believe that perhaps one of the most talented shooters in the conference has no votes yet; Smith from Minford. I think Hale and Ondera are great players. Stegman has had a very solid season and little offensive help. I didn't see Martin from Waverly play that great at the games I was at, but, believe me I've heard he had some terrific games also. I was very impressed with Valley's team this year, and of course, my nephew. I don't know that one stood out for Valley. But without a doubt, this conference has got some players. And from what I've seen, some fine young men!

What a great season of basketball in the soc2 this yr, myself had to go with Ondera of Oak Hill he really in my opinion was the gas that made that race car go.
Were really in for some continued great basketball in the yrs to come with some very very good underclassmen coming up through these schools.
Harrison Martin being a soph and Jake Kretzer a freshman we are pretty excited about the future of Waverly Basketball.
Go Tigers

I think Stegman should have a good shot at getting since he had to really carry his team many of times so that they could win. But he is a sophmore so good chance he won't be able to get it?

I think Hale is the POY.
With Ondera, Cunningham, and Stegman coming in right behind him in no particular order.

Gotta say Hale of OH, take him off of that team and I am not sure they win 11 or 12 games. Ondera is very good, but I would still say Hale.
