Now, I'm going to preface my guess with this statement:

From a geographical standpoint, the following locations would make sense, as they are about 1/2 way between the two schools. That being said, when does the OHSAA do things that make sense?

In this order:

Athens High School

Nelsonville York

Logan

Hell, they could do something stupid and have them play at Teays Valley, or somewhere in Franklin County. OHSAA has been known to do that before........

just read in the paper the preidction is Coal Grove, but we wont know for sure until later on this evening

I just can't believe that even the OHSAA would expect Beallsville to travel all the way to Coal Grove! 192 miles vs. 16!!!! Although, come to think of it, they sent a Cincinnati team to play Ironton in Portsmouth back in '99. So I guess there is a precedent.

The state sends out a list of prospective host sites for round 2 games on the Thursday before each weekend of games. One of the scenarios was that if both Symmes Valley and Beallsville won, Nelsonville-York would be asked to host. If this happens, I'll post the information on this thread. I would suggest checking back at around 2:00 today.

Symmes Valley should win this rather easily, I was at the East game last night and they were ok, small and somewhat quick, QB has a decent arm but Symmes Valley is just a better team, I predict S.V. will win 35-7

I've reviewed all the brackets and the sites, it appears that NY was shut out of round 2 games. That's a shame, they do a nice job hosting.

Athens will be a nice venue for this game. Plenty of seating, and parking should not be an issue for a D VI game.
