D6 R23 Semifinal: Symmes Valley (10-1) vs. Beallsville (9-2)
Re: D6 R23 Semifinal: Symmes Valley (10-1) vs. Beallsville (
Valley big in this one Vikings wanting to show they are a good team and not just happy to get a win in round one.

coop -- its about match ups. Here it is skill/speed vs brawn. Beallsville is southern not northern, below I-70. But nice try , lol.
Beallsville also had a very long road trip to Portsmouth. I'd say they passed with flying colors.

Beallsville is a little better this year then they have been the last few years. Schedule is real weak...nowhere close to program they used to be.

Symmes Valley struggled with a average Trimble team last Saturday night. Beallsville will give them a game because Dave Caldwell is an excellent coach.

I'm not really sure that comparing games really tells you a lot. But if you want to compare games, Beallsville struggled with an average East team that Symmes Valley beat by 30 points in the regular season.

And, on the other hand, Beallsville lost to Shadyside by one point, at Shadyside this year, and I would bet, that Shadyside would throttle Symmes Valley.
So comparing games, and opponents, is pretty much fruitless.
I'll stick with the Blue Devils, in a very close match up. Playing on turf, the skill players are going to be the difference.

That right there is some very funny stuff. I wish that "OneHitWonder" had any clue as to how much he/she got schooled in this post. Friggin' hilarious!!!!!!!!FANOSPORTS wrote:OneHitWonder wrote:It's the same way everywhere not just Athens. Newer, bigger and better always prevails even when it doesn't make sense regardless of whether you believe it or not, all you have to do it look around. By the way, what was your one hit "OneHitWonder" ? I think you may have been the bass player for Wild Cherry on "Play that Funky Music" but then you would have had to relocate from northern Ohio to Athens county. If you want another hit (in more ways than one) you might travel to the "Fur Peace Ranch" down in Meigs county and talk to Jorma Kaukonen (Jefferson Airplane, Hot Tuna). I'm sure he could fix you up with something that would get you to thinking straight.FANOSPORTS wrote:

Taking Vikings in this one they didn't blow the door off Trimble true that because Trimble improved every week and it showed with the way they played.
Valley lost to one playoff team and beat several others this is a good Valley team.
