Ironton can't hang on to the ball and JM turns mistakes into points.

No doubt in my mind buckeye poster that the tigers "D" will be able to handle this running & passing attack! They will be ready! 21 points scored against their "d" in last game & knowing what IRONTON can do. If IRONTON plays hard again, we will have a great chance to move on!!!

The Johnnie D gave up two scores. The 3rd was a defensive scoop and score. They will put points on the board and their d will smack Ironton's archaic offense in the mouth. If Ironton starts turning it over the barn doors are going to fly wide open and it will be a long drive back to Lawrence Co.

Ironton once again has more playofff experience than their foe, not just in coaching but in playing as well this Tiger team has played for the reginal final the past two years and this being the first trip to the playoffs for this particular group of kids from JM. That being said experience will only play a small factor in the game but still a factor. The schedule the Tigers have played have gotten them more than ready for this game. Im not to familiar with the offense that JM runs but in sure coach Lutz has seen it before and will ready for it. The fumbling issue with team is a mystery to me as well as other fans, hopefully its gets fixed this week and the Tigers make to their third straight reginal final. Hope to see as many Tigers fans make the trip!

I have watched both teams twice and have to favor J-Town in this one.

I look for a Johnstown win. Maybe by 2 TDs or more.

Ironton can play with anybody as long as they dont put the ball on the ground. Im looking for a Tigers win by 12.

Ironton played a schedule to help them get this far where a lot of teams would have gave up after turning the ball over and then the other team being on the 2 and stuffing them to force a field goal this team showed a lot of heart and now maybe the realize that can win a lot easier if the stop them mistakes.
I will go with Ironton and a 26-14 win

Jtown might not have the experience in the playoffs as Ironton
but lets not take anything away from these boys, they worked hard
to get here and waited a long time to be a part of this.
Them boys gonna be ready and so will Ironton,
this ones going to be a battle.... Can't wait!
GO JOHNNIES

Paladin, Thanks for the good news! You picked Ironton to lose last week too. You don't pick very well!
J-M does not play half the schedule Ironton plays, so it's hard say how good they are. I guess we will see...

The '79 team was 2-3 touchdown underdogs against Akron St.V St. M for the State Championship. Just a reminder that predictions in print don't always add up to the play on the field.

Tigers are capable of anything as long as they show up ready to play. They cannot depend on their defense like they did last week. Defense needs a break. Offense must stay on field longer so the defense can rest up. Defense played a heck of a game last week. I am happy with the Tigers regardless, great group of kids and also some great athletes. Enjoyed watching them every game this year. Played a tough schedule this year just take your experience from those tough games and put it on the field. The most important thing is to hold on to the dang on ball.

Unless you saw both teams play each other this season, your prediction is worthless.
