I hear alot of you guys sayimg Jtown not experienced, play
a weak schedule, don't have the speed, I think you all
are kidding your selfs if you think thats gonna play a part
in saturdays game, those boys know how good Ironton can
play, we know how rich the football tradition is down there,
how much the team means to the community, we feel the same
in Jtown, those boys are ready for the challenge and they
know theY need to play at the higher level, its gonna be a
fun game and great to be a part of... Good luck and may the
best team win.

Frog town buckeye:

You are wrong about Scotty Johnson. In 1989 Scotty was a junior starting linebacker. He graduated in 1991 which made his senior season 1990.
I believe you are thinking of the 1999 team which was our last trip to the finals.

Jtowns schedule will not be a factor in this game, yea I agree that Ironton played more
tougher teams but it showed in their four losses. The Johnnies played two teams that
made it to the first rounds and blew them out, I think you Ironton fans need to
stop looking at our schedule and start looking at our powerful running attack, we have
a very good offense who I know can play up against any D in this division

Just thought you Ironton fans should know,
D4 Jtown has Running back of the year,QB of the year, coach of the year
oh I forgot, we got that because we play a weak schedule.

HOW BOUT DEM IRONTON FIGHTING TIGERS, MAYBE THEIR MOST DIFFICULT SCHEDULE EVER, ALL COACH LUTZ AND HIS STAFF DO IS JUST KEEP CHURNING OUT PLAYOFF TEAMS , AFTER PLAYOFF TEAM. 29 PLAYOFFS SINCE 1972 IS INCREDIBLE.

KEEP IT UP FIGHTING TIGERS, LET'S TAKE IT TO THEM JOHNNIES.

Think Ironton's schedule prepared them for this game was just looking at the Johnnie's schedule andit goues like this.

8/26 A Granville (9-1) W 38-29
9/2 H Heath (3-7) W 34-19
9/9 A Lakewood (1-9) W 56-13
9/16 A Centerburg (8-2) W 35-17
9/23 H Loudonville (5-5) W 56-35
9/30 H Fredericktown (5-5)W 41-7
10/7 A Utica (2-8) W 56-28
10/14 H Danville (7-4) W 56-15
10/21 A East Knox (1-9) W 62-20
10/28 H Northridge (3-7) W 70-0

They Johnnies played 4 div 5 schools one Div.6 school 3 div.4 schools and 2 div 3 schools Granville went 9-1 but failed to make Div 3 playoffs and Lakewood went 1-9 as a div 3 school with their lone win being over a win less div.6 school.
Centerburg went 8-2 but failed to make playoffs in div 5.
Danville made playoffs in div 6 but was beat 34-7 by Bishop Rosecrans.
Maybe this means nothing but I think the Strength of schedule makes a big difference at this stage of the game.
Ironton lost to 4 teams that made playoffs 2 being in Div 3 both which are undefeated and one in Div 4 who also is undefeated and current the defending state champs in Div 4.
The other being a KY team that would be Div 3 here and in their own playoffs in KY.
That being said I look for a Ironton win and a great game from the Tigers.

Pepsiman, YTB never said anything about my kid at the game or on here. It was another man that was sitting up behind me and a couple others that I could not identify. If YTB had something to say he would say it to me. I just have been very upset lately because there have been several grown men in the stands running their mouths. One was even yelling at the Hartley game to take my kid out of the game. I just think it is wrong to single kids out like that. I am not one of those moms who will sit back and listen to it.

86 I agree there is no call for calling kids out. I apologize to you if I have offended you in anyway. Trevor is a great player and do not let anyone tell you or him differently.

You're Tiger Bait wrote:thank you 86 tiger, i just saw this. it's a shame we just can't be talking about the actual topic the game. and you have people like pepsiman, who can just throw a false statement out there like this. and know better. but have nothing better to do. even though i knew it wasn't true and said that.still 1 person can apparently just make a mockery of the rules here. and spew out the first thing they think of true or not.that needs to change here, and this individual has done this to me on several occasions.thanks again. good luck saturday fighting tigers.
If anyone makes a mockery of this site it is you. All this Brother talk and brutal schedule posted a 1000 times like you are Hulk Hogan is about the most ignorant things posted on here. Your post are an enbarrassment to one of the greatest football programs ,players and coaches in Ohio.

It's a dirty shame that Bob Lutz and the Fighting Tigers names are displayed with such ignorance.
