Indians should be on a roll again in this one. I'm not overall impressed by the strength of schedule in Crestview. Valley/West rematch next week! That will be packed!!! Go Indians keep representing the SOCII!!!!

Their strength of schedule is too impressive to me, only playing 2 teams with over .500 record in the regular season. Overall opponent's record (including playoffs) is 48-63, while Valley's isn't much better at 52-59. I am very excited for this one and I look forward to making the trip to where ever the game is!

It'd not like they were exceptionally good D6 teams or at least some of them would have had better records. In fact, they only beat two teams with winning records in the regular season so how did they even make it into the playoffs?
I don't get it.
It should be noted here, too, that neither West nor Valley played ANY D6 teams this year. In fact, Valley played 5 D4 teams and West played 7 D4 teams so they both should be better battle tested than any of the other teams in region 19.

Until somebody finds a way to stop Keller, the Indians will continue to roll.

Keep feeding Keller all night long until Crestview proves that they can stop him. When he needs a break give it to Brandon Jordan. This kid will earn the respect of any team that has to stop him as well because he is just as hardnose of a runner as anyone you can find. Valley CAN NOT get caught looking passed this team. If they play the way they are capable I see them winning by 2-3 TD's. Good luck Valley!!! Go SOC!

Brandon Jordan was running HARD last night! At one point three General had to pick him up in the air after about 15 yards! If they can't stop Keller, like most teams, the n just keep giving it to him. And Yates sure can run the ball when they need them to.

that's the picture they have in the Ports Daily times. You're right, he was running hard last night

From talking with a few people and listening to the kids after the game on the radio, Valley doesnt listen to the hype that we all lay on them, they are out to prove something

Ive been watching high school football for yrs. and I'm telling ya there isn't that big of a difference between D5 and D6 I mean so what if Crestview played 5 D6 schools. They got into the playoffs by going 10-0. You can tell there regular season schedule is weak by them being the 6 seed with a 10-0 record. But my main point is there a a lot of D6 playoff teams that would beat D5 playoff teams.

My take on this game is Crestview has played a weak schedule and Grandview Height's schedule must have been even weaker for them to lose Friday. I think Valley will score somewhere in the 30s and Crestview somehwhere between 13 and 28.

At this part of the season where it's one and done, or survive and advance, why would any team look past another. You focus on the team you are playing because you really have no idea which team you will be facing next. Valley will put all their efforts this week on coming up with a game plan to defeat Crestview and nothing else will be on their minds. Like Coop said, I'm sure these kids are focused on one game at a time and not worrying about anything else.

By the way, any word on where this game will be played?

There is no "next week" this IS the only game the Indians are thinking about, believe me.

Site announcements are tomorrow.

Ok, prediction time: Valley 35 - Crestview 14

(IMO Grandview Heights would have beat them this past weekend if their all everything running back hadn't went down in the last week of the regular season against Liberty Union. At that point the qb had to carry the team by himself and for a half had Crestview down but they couldn't hold on .)

Dont think the D6 teams are a given on Crestviews schedule. They are some tough outs or league games. Valley is huge and has a great running attack and a very good Oline and Defense. I am confident that they can win the game IF they stay sound in the blocking and tackling and defense makes the reads they are coached to. No more hype for this team. U get this far, kids read this stuff. Stay focused, competition will be!
