Dont understand how Bucyrus is in our region? Looked them up on a map and from their location I would think they would be in something other thanR19. I thought region was where you lived.?

We were in R-18 forever-to be honest we don't understand it either. There was a 2 year span where we dropped to D-6 because of enrollment, not far over that now really. But when we were moved back up to D-5 they put us in this region. It makes no sense I agree

From what I seen of some of Wynfords games I think we might have more speed then them but its hard to tell on those videos. They look like they are a little bigger than us. I do think that our secondary needs to have a good and we need to make some good long time consuming drives and have good balance on offense. We need to get some good pressure on the qb and contain him dont let him have time to make good throws and get good yardage with his feet. I would really like to see Conway Cooper dominate this game like he is capable of doing.They think that they are going to push us around and we cant play with them physically. I quess we will find out friday. Win or lose they are going to know they were in a ballgame, one thing I know is we will be physical and we will hit them hard. So the boys need to go up there and play good play hard and show them what the Westsiders are made of.

Greetings from a humble Wynford fan. It appears we have a couple of over confident posters up on the NOSF forum, but I can tell you most of us are more realistic about this matchup. Should be a whale of a game.

As for the NORTH/SOUTH respect thing, I'm not sure I fully understand that. Heck we are just a squirrel trying to find a nut, just like you guys. Wynford has been in the playoffs 7 years straight and we've yet to get out of the region. We have a lot to prove up here to the other great northern teams that really don't give us respect either (and won't until we earn it).

Too bad that video of the Wynford/Smithville game didn't have Smellivision. You would have noticed a distinct manure smell coming from the field next to the stadium which was spread just a day or so before the game.

ive watched a few of wynfords games online, i dont think theyve faced a defense that hits like the one they are about to face...if our DB's play smart an we get pressure on there QB i see a win...they have some big boys, but so do we.........i will say a low scoring game, doesnt look like he throws that good on the run...just gotta out hit another northern team, trust me it can be done..isnt the 1st time a west team has been the underdog going into the 2nd round...ask the 02 new lexington team that was 11-0...lol....GOOD LUCK TO WEST AND VALLEY!!!

Wynford looked really good against Ontario. Ontario looks like a fine team and Wynford loaded the box and dominated them from what I saw. The last 2 games they look very beatable to me if we play well. As the other guy said, we have to finish drives and score. Their a skilled team and their gonna score some points.

The qb is good, but I think our d-line can contain him running. The guy to stop is #5. He's a great player. Go nickel and man up on him; play zone with the other 4.
