And maybe this was a little karma after all the Indian fan's, which were rooting against the North Adams Green Devils last night against the Trojans of Portsmouth! And to think that Coach McFarland who done an excellent job with this group last year who took the same team to the District finals was let go after a great season! So maybe what goes around, comes around!
I love how people who have absolutely no clue about anything come on websites like this and post some ridiculous thing just to try to stir crap. For one, yes there were many Peebles' fans cheering against North Adams the other night, but that is due to a
past history of tension between the two teams, I know for a fact that there will people from the Peebles team that were cheering for North Adams, just as I know there are kids off of the North Adams team that cheer for Peebles. These teams have a lot of respect for each other, and a lot of the players from both teams are friends off the court. To say that the Peebles loss was due to karma is just plain idiocy. And as for the Coach McFarland deal, I do not see it as fair, nor right to compare the two seasons. I have a lot of respect for Coach McFarland, and what he committed to the program over the course of 4 years. However, if you look back at last year's season and this year's season, I think that many Indian fans will tell you that we had a more successful season this year. Sure the Indians fell a little bit short this year of their goal of making it to the Convo, but that was due to an uncontrollable set of circumstances. (Players getting sick, having an off night, not hitting shots they would normally make)...If Peebles had not come out and played with heart and effort, than I believe people could rightfully say that the Indians had an unsuccessful season and rightfully deserved to lose, but the fact of the matter is....that they gave it everything they had, but they just had their worst game of the season at the wrong time, and Zane Trace had their best game at the right time. Congrats to Zane Trace and Good Luck in the rest of the Tourny.....
GO INDIANS...WE WILL GET 'EM NEXT YEAR
