Re: Gallia Academy Wrestling
Gallia vs NY, I would have to go with NY in a run away. Gallia beat Waterford by 6, and Waterford only had 6 wrestlers. This is just my opinion and I have been known to be wrong before. I would have to come and watch this one. I believe Gallia is wrestling Waterford Tonight. Any results yet?

SEOAL Gallia hands down, trhen it is a toss-up, Maybe Marietta or Logan second and third, Chilli next, with Jackson and Warren rounding it out. I'll be following the local teams and wish the Blue Devils a great season.

Wow that is a very bold statement considering NY and Athens are in the "area". FYI, even little ole Belpre beat Gallia in a duel at Meigs. And Belpre don't come close to filling all the weight classes. Waterford only lost by 6 I believe to Gallia and Waterford only has 6 wrestlers. That tells me they won every head to head match or possibly lost only one. No disrespect to Gravely but I seen the boy from Vinton have Gravely on his back for quit a long time and the kid from Vinton beating him. HOWEVER!!! Every dawg has his day.

My opinion not even close. NY runs away with the win. I see no weak spots at NY sorry my opinion.
Re: Gallia Academy Wrestling
Nelsonville-York has some weak spots. Pretty strong overall but we are human and can get beat at any given moment. I feel we will be a very good tournament team. And a decent dual team.

I agree totally Tric !! There is a weak spot or two but not to bad. And yes any given day one can be beat. My theory is there is always someone out there better than you on any given day. Good Luck to you all this year until you know when... :-)

Yes you are right. Also I understand Gallipolis also had a few dinged up wrestlers at Meigs that didn't wrestle. I hear alot of people saying Gallipolis this Gallipolis that. Yes they are a good team but they are not as dominate as some may think. That is my point. Also don't put a individual on such a high pedestal when we all know anyone can be beat any day of the week. Not fair to the individual wrestler to have to try and live up to that.
I am not on here to bash any wrestler or team but just be careful what you say because alot of us end up eating crow...lol

That is great. Like I said," Every dawg has his day". That is why it is done on the mat and not in this forum...but we all like to speculate that is why this forum is great as long as we all have fun.

Re: Gallia Academy Wrestling
Warren didn't have a problem beating Gallia on wednesday.
Rohr took care of gravely and pulled it out with 6-5.
Gallia was good in some areas but needs to work on others.
Best of luck!
