From reading all the posts about teams that went undefeated this year, I would think there are some kids on Ironton,Burg,Peebles,V.C, and Piketon that would have some impact players next year at the next level...

West has to have some 8th grade girls that will definitely do well next year at JV and Varsity.

I agree. West has several 8th grade girls with talent. There's no doubt that several of them will move up to the varsity team next year. Especially the Leader girl. Minford has the Dever girl who will more than likely be moved up to the varsity team. She is an excellent rebounder, handles the ball well and she is tall. She will replace vacancies created by the seniors who are graduating this year. The Minford varsity team is solid on guards so I don't see any guards being moved up. Wheelersburg has a couple of guards that could very possibly be moved up to the varsity team. Don't know what to say about Oak Hill. They are already rock solid! They will probably be unstopable again next year.

I agree, West has some talented freshman to be's..The Dever girl is tough, listens, no attitutde problem, has a consistent jumpshot and strong rebounder, i can see her moving up if she continues to work on it...Southwebster has some tough 8th grade girls moving up, tall and like they say you can't coach height...

Dakota Hoffman and Ryan Leasure from Belpre could?!?! challenge for varsity time. Hoffman has a better chance from the point guard spot, very quick and atheletic, gets to the basket but is small. Leasure can post up and shoot with some range, with Belpre looking small for varsity his height 6'2 may help him find some PT. A work in progress is Tyler Martin, big and strong but needs to work on foot work and game understanding. Caleb Marshall can shoot when he has confidence. It will be interesting with a new coaching staff headed for Belpre. Good Luck Coach Plummer.
