Ironton 7th over SP by about 5 a close game the whole time.

SP by 11 over the Ironton 8th it was about 17 point lead when the starters were pulled for the Pointers.

someone put this is up wrong it was ironton 7th over sp close game dont remember the score. and it ws sp 8th over ironton the score was 28 to 38 or 39 and sp was up until starters where pulled.

South Point @ Galia tonight 1/2/12 was cancelled at 2:00 by Galia I guess they had a bunch of snow up there. We only have a dusting on the ground and it has melted off the road alreadyhere. I hated that in a way. We need to play but I didn't look forward to driving in the snow either. Plus it is the night before school starts so it will be easier on the kids not getting in late.

i believe you should look at the 8th grade coach.the last 2 yrs the 7th grade sp teams win ovc. and when they become 8th graders they are not as good and they have the same players

No I don't think it is the coach, if you aren't around the program you have no idea. And no I am not a coach. Kids change, situations at home change, adults butting in etc. make things difficult...... without going into a huge story that is all I going to say about that. They'll be fine.

South Point 7th over Chesapeake in a VERY close game.Pointers behind at the half and the 3rd quarter. Under a minute to play all tied, Pointers hit a three, Peake gets the ball hits thier own three. Pointers goe down and a kid hits an awkward desperation layup. About 4 seconds left time out for Peake. Kid throws it up for Peake and almost makes it! Pointers win. Very exctiting game! Peak is the most improved 7th grade team I have seen this year.

South Point 8th over Chesapeake. Also a great game to watch. Pointers were down at the half and come back and take the lead at the end of the third, win by 8. Pointers lost by 2 @ the Peake earlier in the year.
