I think Odie is putting the finishing touches on the schedule this week. I will ask him this evening if it is finished and ready to post.

Besides Wheelersburg any other local teams playing in this tournament? You will see some great games at this tournament. Well worth the trip out. A great chance to show the teams up north what the south has to offer. ;-)

I did get alittle more information for you. There will be 16 teams total and I know that there will be some teams from both West "by god" Virginia and Kentucky. I will try to find out more.

Kenton Ridge is a division ll school in Springfield. I don't remember them ever being down here for the Valley of Thunder Tournament.

Sure would have been nice to have seen Clay come play some of the visiting teams. They are always tough and would have represented SOC l quite well. Alot of good exposure for their high profile pitcher too. I know Ali Thompson from Green will be there shining like a star as always. Her curve ball must be breaking 10-12 inches at least.

Can't wait to see Green play Clay on Monday the 30th at Clay. Should be a good game.

Hope to see everyone at the Valley on April 9th. & 10th.

This is a nice tournament, but Odie shows preference to the teams from up north as far as fields, times, and umpires. Local teams should be showcased and not be used as fill-ins for vote getting connection teams

These teams travel far and wide to come to this tournament.
They dont say they will come and then not show up because it
is to cold to play. (LIKE A LOCAL SOC TEAM)
They should get some preference over local teams that
can go home every night and sleep in their own beds.

We also travel North every year to go play.
we are given the same respect....
these teams love softball and they love the tournament.

We always receive numerous comments and compliments.
Hardly ever do we receive negative comments.

Hopefully we can get the weather to cooperate with us......
See you in the Valley.............

Maybe you should use this blog for what it is intended to be...a discussion of softball games without negative finger pointing...if I remember correctly, there were several teams that did not show up during the 'snow' tournament and not just 'one local SOC team' - whoever that is supposed to dig on...obviously you are a Symmes Valley fan...so root for your team and quit digging on others...

Now how in the world did you guess I was a SV FAN!!!
WOW ....can't get nothin by upi34....
Your team happened to be the ONE team that didn't call
and let us know you weren't coming.
There was a team waiting to play that had drove for 3 hours
to play and your team wasn't on the field.
So, what did we do.....SV sat one of their games out so the team from
up north could go ahead and play......
And I do think the SUBJECT on this particular softball link is THUNDER IN THE VALLEY!!!
Just stating FACTS...
It is a great tournament .......
Can't wait......

Ok apparently you are both in bad moods because your teams got beat yesterday. Everyone step back and take a breath.

Clay got beat by Green and the Vikings got hammered by Ashland. Lets just hope the weather is good for the Valley of Thunder Tournament.

Now back to the Lady Vikings, what in the world happened last night in Ashland. Did the girls not show up or what. Is there boy issues going on again that has them hating each other or could they just not play ball last night. 9-0 is kinda embarrassing if you ask me. What did Odie have to say after the game or can it be repeated.

Lets go girls. :aaaaa18

Why does everyone hate Clay so much? The girls at Clay can't make one wrong move because they have every other team in the SOC breathing down their backs waiting for them to make a mistake so they can rag on them. It's pathetic. You people all need to get a life. Why not just cheer for your team and stop booing the others? Everyone always says Clay has an attitude problem but the Clay fans aren't getting on here and saying that they are glad that some other team lost. That's all I have to say. Goodbye.

Viking Grad. Are you sure you are from Symmes Valley? It seems everytime someone says something about Clay you come back with comments about the Viking girls that makes it look like you are trying to stir things up with our girls. Are you sure you are not actually from Clay or down towards Portsmouth. I was at the Ashland game and stood right by the dugout and did not hear anything at all like a war zone. Plus Odie did not say anything after the game because he was not at the game!

Please list your true location and then change your name to where you actually came from!!!!

Popcorn, a true Viking !
