Fawcett Stadium Dining Question
Fawcett Stadium Dining Question
Heading to Fawcett to watch Dover vs. Mooney on Friday.
Any suggestions on where to stop and eat before the game? Looking for something not national chain, something local.

If they have the same concessions as when the finals are there, just wait and eat there. Great burgers fries and hot dogs. Funnel cakes too!

John's Bar and Grill on Cleveland Ave in Canton.
Right up the street from the Hall of Fame and Fawcett Stadium.
Take my word for it because I graduated from the college across the street.

We prefer to go to North Canton -- Carrabbas ( Italian), Mariachi's ( Mexican), Mulligan's Pub . John's Bar & Grill is O.K. There is a great Mom & Pop place out at Myer's Lake but name escapes me.

Best Steaks we have had were at the Brown Derby on Everhard Rd in Canton.

They are a chain but not one we have in Southern Ohio

Been there many times, and if I were going, I'd be visiting this establishment again. Been to Stables, the decor and atmosphere were good, but the food was average at best.zebra77 wrote:Mulligan's Pub is a good one.

Tim's Tavern if you want some good fried fish. This might be the place someone mentioned before that's out near Meyers Lake

It's on Parkway Street. If you're driving North on 77, take 13th St. exit (I think this is one or two exits south of Hall of Fame/Fawcett Stadium). Turn left onto 13th St. NW and Parkway will veer off to the right. Probably a 10-15 minute drive to Fawcett.

Everyone of these choices are better than The Stables. You can't go wrong with these choices
