2009 NORTH SOUTH ALL-STAR CLASSIC FOOTBALL GAME ROSTER

THE ROSTER FOR THE 2009 NORTH SOUTH ALL-STAR CLASSIC FOOTBALL GAME HAS BEEN RELEASED.

THREE SOUTHERN OHIO PLAYERS HAVE BEEN TAPPED FOR THIS HONOR:

Travis Sherman Coal Grove
Nate Cadogan Portsmouth
Mike Lamb Ironton

Way to go and......

Its great to see guys from our area play in that game even though i think there should be a couple more on that roster from this area because there was a such great deal of talent this past football season.

i know both lamb and sherman, when i went to fairland i played football with lamb before he moved to ironton, and he is a excellant player. i dont know sherman very wel but ive been to weightmeets that he also goes to and he is a beast! congrats to both of them.

Both teams are selected by a media panel to represent Southern or Northern Ohio. They have all worked hard and played hard.

call them as I them :shock: :-D :!: and watch a game and see who falls down 9 times out of 10....easier to block on your knees.......films don't lie ;-) there's no such thing as intimidation when you get to playoffs was evident after 1st play on offense :shock: the 4 all-staters that played worked hard too and was more deserving to play than who did :?: and everbody knows it so why candy coat it :?: sorry if you don't like truth ....... bird78 :razz:

I agree makes you sound selfish... why bring the kids into this? It's all media driven and based on nominations by the head coach, then it was voted on by coaches at the region meeting as a regional nomination... then the coaches choose from those nominations. I've been to these meetings and sometimes your best player doesn't get a nomination but someone else on your roster does... all depends on what teams nominate players at each position and how the coaches vote... even then no player is guaranteed a spot...
