I hope Oak Hill can win...so Eastern has a chance to show what they can do against them with(hopefully) a win against Southern...AND A TEAM FULL OF SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS. All these Oak Hill supporters on SEOPS are getting ridiculous.. Its like their team is all getting scholarships to go play at UNC. And excuse me for not knowing the name of a player that is supposed to be amazing but couldnt make a layup on Monday. This kid has NO chance against Cunningham..REMEMBER that name, you'll hear the announcer at the Convo saying it quite a bit on Saturday. I will pick Oak Hill to win this one if they get out and force tempo..I believe Waterford has the advantage for a slower paced game...
That being said Oak Hill was won alot of games this year in the 40's however I believe they have more athleticism than Waterford. Ondera plays well when he can get out and lead the break. If this game is in the 40 or 50's I believe this bodes well for the Wildcats....Should be a good matchup between big men

I'm just so tired of the TVC bashers. Southern, Eastern, and Waterford are all VERY good teams..and all three can hang with anyone. The Eastern-Southern game is going to be a slugfest from beginning to end...and whichever way that game goes, I'll be rooting for the winner in the next round. I just love it how Oak Hill fans are sooo quick to praise their own team and count out Waterford. The Cats are by no means a cakewalk. And they can put up some points as you saw on Monday. I guess we'll find this all out on Sat.

Waterford by 10. Oak Hill was TERRIBLE tonight and last week when I saw them. I just dont see the hype and how they have won so many games. Seems to me if a team has a real inside prescence(WATERFORD) or some great outside shooting...that they could pick Oak Hill apart piece by piece. The only reason Oak Hill didnt get blown out was because number 21 shot 1.000 percent from the floor. They're "big man" couldnt make a layup. I'm just not feeling the hype. Go Cats!

So go run your mouth on the Eastern vs. Southern thread..theres no possible way any teams in the TVC could make it anywhere if they were in D3.. Oak Hill could. GET REALISTIC! GO OAKS!

What is even funnier is 2-3 years ago Oak Hill "Boys" Basketball was a laughing stock. Now they have some success and they become the greatest thing since sliced bread. All I have to say is enjoy the ride because the ride eventually will come to a screeching halt. When will that happen? I predict 1-2 years down the road. Their coach will be retiring and there will be no more transfers. Look where South Webster is now, after just 3 years removed from a State Title.

Back to the game. Oak Hill wins. The closer it gets to Saturday the more I am in favor of them and their coach. He has a knack for winning these games.

I disagree with that. After watching the D3 Districts this weekend, Oak Hill would have a tough time playing with some of these teams. They may win, but the odds would be stacked against them. Plus many of these teams return a lot of players and will be back next year, making it that much more difficult for the Oaks to advance next year.

I would predict those are pretty good statements Regulator. I don't know if they will have the Jackson pipeline if Jordan stays at Jackson for awhile.

I think that Oak Hills zone defense will push Cunningham out away from the basket. Their length will affect Waterfords shots from outside. Waterford will have to contain Ondrea, as he can go off at any minute. The Oakes are big and can play physical, from what I saw, DJ doesnt handle physical play that well. I look for Oak Hill to try to get under his skin. I dont think Norm will let two players beat him, DJ may get his but #24 will have a harder time going for 31 as he did against Manchester. Good Luck to both teams! This should be a regional semi game, not a district finals!
