And how many other coaches have been let go at one time or another and have gone to do very good jobs at other places? More than what anyone wants to think! Just because it did not work at one place does not mean that it will not work somewhere else or that a person is more of a head coach than an assistant or the other way around. Plus people change over time, give the man a chance-you might be surprised.

My high school coach was ran out of a place before he came to the school where I went. He was not even the number one choice. He only had a record at the school he went to of 53-6-1 and ended up on Earl Bruce's staff at Ohio State. So people, just give it a rest and let the man do his job.
