What Week Will Coach Lutz Become Winningest Coach?

If all plays out well for the Tigers this year, i say they get the win in week 8, and get to celebrate with the most winningest coach in Ohio history with ol' Bob Lutz.

I hope he gets it this year. I don't think hes got 2 more years in him. He seems tired to me, the kids don't seem to respond to him like they did in years past. Not knocking him at all, I just think there's a different culture and the kids aren't paying attention to him. I hope I'm wrong.

When i talk to Ironton fans im only ever talkin but to like, 3 poeple. Cannon, 895(whos just chalk full of interesting things to say, such as the Ironton favorite "Nuff said") and YTB but hes my buddy. Ironton will be a very good team next year and an excellent D4 team. I would love to see them win state and Logan whomp them. Makes us look better. We'll see what happens. The Tanks been known to be a homerdome.

Since we are talking about the "Lutz era" at Ironton, it appears that "The Tank" has been no more of a "homerdome", than Logan's field. In Lutz' first 14 games against the Chieftans, Logan won only one game....at the Tank. (granted it was on a blocked field goal return for a touchdown, but a win)

Yep, a typical Ironton reply. Its been 19 years since Ironton has beat Logan and of course you whip out the "well we beat ya more" card since you cant use the "we've beat you recently" card. Amyx is 3-1 against Ironton, 2-1 against ol'Bob and heading towards 3-1. Hes beat Bob more than Bobs beat him plain and simple.

The best part about all of this is we've owned you since rejoining and now you've tucked tail and left and we'll never get to even up the series. Thats okay, we had the last laugh.
As i've grown up i've learned to just sit back and laugh at you guys becuase the games going to be played this fall, were going to stomp you AGAIN, and you'll still claim to be better than us. Well, your not. Sorry.
