Jackson tends to give up the big plays when opponents score. Drives of 4 or 5 first downs for touchdowns are few and far between. Against Logan with a huge lead the defense seemed to keep trying to overpursue for -2 yard losses....but cost them some lengthy plays.....same with an excellent St Charles team.

Sometimes our defense isn't top notch...but they are solid and often excellent. The offense with those 4 weapons is just about unstoppable more often than not.

Sharp will probably get loose a couple of times and we might get beat deep once.....but our offense has not failed us all year.

Week 11....should be a good one

QUESTION: WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN????????
ANSWER: NOTHING.
That's why they play the games!!!
Hopefully, this will be a great football game. It'd be a shame to have this one end in a blowout either way.Great showcase for SEO football!
Good luck to both sides!
.....unless its your home team with the big score.

I recall a good Jackson fullback from the late '70's. Brian Landrum.

There have been roughly 8,106 Landrums play football for the Ironmen. Morgan is about as close to Brian as any of them. A tough-nosed football playing family.

And for bonus points his Uncle Brad played in the marquee 1990 game as a reliable over the middle TE.

We'll see why Athens got out of the S.E.O.A.L. and moved to the much smaller and weaker T.V.C. Jackson by three touchdowns. Hard to imagine that Athens has only made the playoffs twice now. To here everyone in Athens they're the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Sharp: 11 receptions for 209 yards and 1 TD.

Athens TE's like to catch the ball as well.

Maxson: 6-122 (1 TD)
Mack: 3-35 (3 TD)
Good balance among the receivers.
Sharp has, what, about 1,300 yards rushing?

I agree, I saw Athens at Warren this year. Good team speed, Lb's are good. But Jackson is solid in all positions. Their O-line is real good and I think they can pound the ball off tackle all night for decent yardage.

Brett Rippeth.....a man-sized defensive end. Every player back then was either big or insanely strong on that team. Rippeth was both.

Won't make the game because I will be in the sunny south, but I will follow the progress on here, if someone updates the game. And everyone in our area of Alabama will be cheering for Jackson. GO RED !!!!!! Luke, remember what I said about keeping that foot warm. :122245 :122245
