That still cracks me up. I cant imagine why someone would not want their stats posted unless they are struggling and they dont want there college coach to see how bad. I hear one is struggling some and has been since the post season. Thats probably why daddy doesnt want it posted.

You are doing a good service here which is appreciated. Thank you for those of us that cant make every game.

Amazing, but not surprising! Some always hide evil intent. Thanks for being so concerned about Bryan's struggling future-LOL. Some baseball knowledge and class might serve you well. Good luck to Post 23 for the rest of the season, hope my son does not bring the team down too much with his struggles. Amazing! Whitey's Mom

POST 23 took game #2 of the CK Tourney yesterday with a 11-3 victory over Fairmont POST 17. Coakley with the win. POST 23 bats continue to stay hot same as the weather. Oesch 3R HR to LF to put the game out of reach. Myers 2-3 3b 2RBI, Wamsley 3-4 RBI, Hopper 4-4, Ratcliff 1-4 RBI, Knittle 1-1 RBI

POST 23 took game #3 this morning over South Shore POST 276 5-4. Farmer with the win going the distance. POST 276 took an early 3-0 lead in the 1st backed by a 2R HR by Heineman to CF. POST 276 would extend the lead in the 5th to 4-0. Heineman was working a 1 hit shutout going into the 6th when POST 23 bats came alive and would plate 3 on a 2R HR by Hopper to LF and an RBI single by Coakley to RF. With POST 23 down by one heading to the top of the 7th, Martin would be on the hill for POST 276. With 1 out, Wamsley lined a base hit into RF that scooted by the RF and he ends up on 3rd with 1 out. Hopper then hits his 2nd HR of the game a 2R shot to LF to put POST 23 up 5-4 heading into the bottom of the 7th. POST 276 would threaten to tie the game with runners on 1st and 3rd and 2 out but Farmer would get the K to end the game.

POST 23 will play in the championship game at 11am tomorrow morning.

POST 23 lost to POST 76 12-6 in the championship game. Although there is some confusion. Apparently POST23 won the tourney and yesterdays game was not an official tourney game. POST 23 was supposed to play POST 76 Junior team for the championship since they advanced out of the other pool. But when POST 23 arrived the senior team was on the field. Never told us that POST 23 won until after the game was over. Worst run tourney I've ever seen in my life. POST 23 was 3-0 coming out of the pool and was the visting team. Never knew who we were playing or what time. Every day there was some type of drama.

Anyway on to the game. This game got ugly quick. After a few heated words between Wamsley and the POST 76 1st baseman due to a couple overly aggressive tags at 1st, Wamsley was tossed in the 3rd with POST 23 up 5-3 on an over throw to 1st base during warmups. Several POST 76 players came out of the dugout and words were exchanged between both fans and players.

POST 23 bats continued to stay hot and Myers threw well through 5 innings but just could not use his curveball late in the game and POST 76 took the lead. Morrisette in relief but POST 76 continued to hit pretty well. Can't remember much after all the confusion in the game so sorry if I miss something. For POST 23, Myers with a shot to CF and Osech with another blast to CF. Wamsley, Leach, Hopper also hit the ball very well against very solid pitching.

POST 23 split the DH with the Chilli Generals last night.

Game 1 POST 23 - 8 GENERALS - 4. Did not attend the game but was told that Leach got the win for POST 23 and Wamsley the SV. Robertson pitched for the GENERALS and Uhrig in relief. Also was told POST 23 hit the ball pretty well starting in the 3rd inning. Buckiewicz with a triple, Hopper with 2 HRs, Wamsley with multiple hits in the contest.

Games 2 GENERALS - 11 POST 23 - 1 (5 innings). Barnes with the win for the GENERALS, Montgomery with the loss for POST 23. Not too many details on this game as POST 23 bats must have went flat in game 2. HR by Elliott and GS by Uhrig for the GENERALS.

POST 23 is off today and will resume play on Wednesday with a single game against Galliapolis POST at Branch Rickey.

Just talked to the Paints front office.
The Mound is currently being rebuilt.
The Games are not being played at the VA today.
They are being played at Ross County Park.

POST 23 over POST 25 aviators 2-0 in 7 innings. Luster pitched very well and came away with the 2 hit shutout for 23. cool weather, wind and wood bats seemed to cut down on the hits. Any ball hit well to the outfield was pretty much an out. Wind was holding the gap balls up and fielders were getting to most everything. Only ball that carried at all was to RF for POST 25.

POST 23 will play Waverly POST 142 tomorrow morning at 9am then Chilli POST 62 at 2pm.
