POST 23 moves to 3-0 and took both games today in the SW Woodbat tourney. 23 hit the ball pretty well today. They also have only given up 1 run in 3 ball games.

Game1 10-0 over Waverly POST 142. Wamsley with the no-hitter and the win.
Game2 8-2 over Chillicothe POST 62. Farmer with the win giving up 2 run on 2 hits.

Scheduled to play Findlay POST tomorrow 2pm at Ross County Park.

It is my understanding that 23 has already made the championship game on Sunday 11am at the VA as they are the only undefeated team in their pool

Well my understanding was incorrect.

POST 23 dropped the final game to Findlay POST 3 7-3 today. POST 23 jumped out to a 2-0 lead and then was leading 3-1 heading into the 4th. A couple walks, and error or two and timely hits had POST 23 down 5-3 heading into the 6th where POST 3 would extend their lead to 7-3. POST 23 bats were not hot today and could not produce the timely hits when needed. Several left on in scoring position.

Both teams finished 3-1 and POST 3 will advance on the head to head tie breaker. POST 23 will play for 3rd place tomorrow at 11am in Washington CH.

POST 23 took 3rd place over Hillsboro POST 129 5-4. Morrisette with the win and Luster with the save. Not sure on the hitting leaders as not many hits to speak of. Here is what I can remember. Farmer 2b, Kemper 2b, White 1b, Buckiewicz bunt 1b. POST 23 had a bunch of BB's and HBP's by POST 129. Down side is POST 23 left at leat 17 runners in scoring position. Bases loaded in the 1st 5 innings with 2 out and could not pick up a timely hit.

All in all a good tourney for 23. Findlay POST 3 won the championship game 2-0 over Piqua POST.

Yes. At Waverly. My guess Wamsley will pitch in this one.

How did the games end up last night?

I left in the 1st game and the score was 6-6. Post 23 came out of the gate slow & sloppy. Im hoping they stepped it up in the 2nd game and for tonight against Waverly.

POST 23 won both games. 9-8 in the 1st game and 12-2 in 6 innings in game #2. Looked much better after the 1st couple innings of game #1. Leach closed out the 1st game for the win and pitch the full 6 in game 2.

POST 23 took both games against South Shore POST 276 last night.

Game 1 : 23 - 7 276 - 5. Farmer with the win, Morrisette with the save. 23 was a little sluggish defensively with a few errors early but held on for the win.
Game 2 : 23 - 12 276 - 1 (5 innings). Wamsley with the win, Morrisette with the save.

Many hit the ball well and contributed offensively last night for 23 in both games.
