By no means am I an Oak Hill fan, but Coach Hale is part of what Oak Hill girls basketball is all about.I dont know about you but this administrators cant coach rule at some schools has to go.

I can see were a person that is the Super an a head coach could create a problem. The AD is the head coachs boss, but who is the AD's boss? Its the Superintendent.

I know it's a polarizing issue at Webster. I personally feel that administrators should also be allowed to coach. But I'm not a teacher nor an administrator, so I honestly don't know if it's possible to perform both duties effectively (although judging by Oak Hill's results, I assume Hale was doing a good job on both ends). Given what Oak Hill has coming back, maybe they ought to look the other way on this issue for a year or two and then decide.

Is Oak Hill considering applying this to just the superintendent or all administrators? If the latter, this could also affect Kreischer a few years down the road when Persin is ready to hang 'em up.*

... the Logan Freshmen coaching position was left open when walsh & co. elected to not renew the contract of Coach Burns after she finished the 08-09 freshmen season at 11-3 ... once again the Logan girls are without a female coach - worked out of the mix by the coaching powers ... Who has the "good old boyz" selected to take over the girls freshmen job ??? will be interesting to see how this one is handled IF Coach Burns is the only school personnel to have applied for the position ... I see a meeting of Coach Burns, walsh , the Superintendent AND UNION REPRESENTATIVES coming to a conference room near us .

So you are saying this all happened becasue she is female??? Pretty serious accusation if so...

If you had a potential Coach send you a resume with 3 years of Varsity Coaching experience with records of 0-21,5-16, and 7-14 how many of you would hire this Coach? Would Piketon,Huntington,Peebles, Green, or Waverly or any other school hire this person as there new Coach?
